pelican and peony: panic

sorry for the delayed blogs;that twitter thing is proving to be too easy to share inspirations.
but i will try again to be a better blogger (that sounded nice)

Blogging is a funny thing though. I often panic about it; who am I to blog? who am I to assume that anyone would want to witness ,much less follow, what is tickling my fancy, to pay attention to the anthology of things, people, places and moments that make me grin.

But then again, I just adore listening, watching and following other peoples personalities unfold. It’s such a treat to know that other people get as excited as me about a font. an exciting new endeavor.A shade of green.a humble style genius. A restoration. An act of love.a take-your-breath-away photo of some randoms doing something random.

And above all this, i panic that a lot of the things I post are other peoples’ genius.By putting them on this blog, I feel that maybe I am a parasite. Claiming some of their magic is mine, because I approve?

But then I move past that, and know that their magic is supposed to be shared. That is why we as people make, do, say,fashion, collect and show. We put it out there for it to be shared, and to made into something even more powerful than we first intended.
